Mizzou Merit Badge University 2025

**Optional activity**

Join over a thousand Scouts from across the region for a day of learning and fun!  Here you will find all the information you need regarding the merit badge course catalog, prequisites, & overnight-stay options. Merit badges will be offered on Saturday only.  There will be a mixture of full-day and half-day merit badges. Please review the information below:

Scout cost (all registrations include instruction, lunch, facilities, & a patch) - $27 per Scout

Adult cost - there is no cost for adults to attend. However, adults may purchase a lunch and patch package for $12

Event Apparel: All Event shirts are Pre-Order Only.

Lunch: All Scouts will be provided lunch. Adults may purchase an optional lunch in the registration.

Check-in:  Check-in is a Troop Check-in.  Registration Packets will be organized by troops, and will contain everything for a single troop.  Please designate a single person to check-in the entire troop.  The Check-in desks will be organized by councils.  The day of check-in, please find your council location to receive your registration packets.

Event Timeline:

• August 12, 2025 @ 9:00 AM - Registration Opens
• October 14, 2025 @ Midnight -  Last day to Pre-Order Event Apparel
• October 19, @ Midnight - Registraion Closes 

Parking: Parking is available at the Hitt Street Parking Structure, Turner Avenue Garage, & Conley Parking Garage

Merit Badge Course Catalog & Prerequisites* - The Course Catalog is available as an attachment.  As classes are added they will appear on the Course catalog along with the prerequisites.  Please utilize the Merit Badge Prerequisite Completion Form attached to document your prerequisites.

New Classes are being added weekly up until October 5th, 2025

**Should you need the Scoutmaster to provide a blue card, please speak with Mr. Saugstad or get in touch with Mrs. Skinner to help you get it. Also, it is your responsibility to provide us with proof of any completed requirements so we might update Scoutbook.

**If your Scout is planning to attend and may want to carpool, please ask him to make an announcement at a troop meeting and/or your family can post a message in the Signal App.
