New Family Task List

Welcome to Troop 218! To help you get started quickly, we’ve created a task list with links to important information on our website. Feel free to reach out with any questions—we’re happy to help!

You'll need a Troop 218 Membership Toolkit account (step two) to access most of our resources.

Complete these steps in order:

1. Scout registration with Troop 218 – If your son is new to the area, new to Scouting, or crossing over from a Cub Scout Pack, please contact Troop 218's Recruiting Chair for instructions on how to get your son registered as a Scout with Troop 218. 

2. Create a Troop 218 Membership Toolkit website account (Critical step)

3. Complete ALL Troop 218 New Member Forms then upload to Registrations/Forms/Uploads under My Account on our website

4. Submit troop dues through your website account

5. Obtain a uniform and waterproof handbook cover

6. Adult Requirements (including adult registration, Youth Protection Training, and VIRTUS Training) must be completed to actively participate with the troop

7. Get Remind notifications and add the Signal app to your mobile device

8. Review the Troop 218 Handbook, Mobile Code of Conduct and other contents of our website

9. Tracking Scout Advancement with Scoutbook
