Michael Stapleton Eagle Scout project

Dear Scouts and Scouters,

My name is Michael Stapleton, and I need some help with my Eagle Scout Project on Sunday, October 12.

We shall be constructing wooden shelves for the Theater Department at Saint Thomas Aquinas High School. These shelves will help reduce clutter from scattered props during the production of the plays, which will make it easier and safer for crew and cast to perform.

I will need at least 12 Scouts 3rd year and up, and 2-3 adults (preferably with experience with woodcutting because we will need an adult to cut the lumber).

We will meet at Saint Thomas Aquinas High School at 8 A.M. 

A donut breakfast will be provided with water and gatorade refreshments, so be sure to show up.

We shall be cutting down the lumber on site to the correct measurements, then scouts will use drills to screw the shelves together based on my instruction. Scouts should bring gloves and protective eyewear.

Like I said earlier in the email, I need at least one adult to aid in cutting the lumber down to the correct measurements. If you are interested and knowledgeable with a saw, please send me an email at michaelman7762@gmail.com, making sure to follow YPT.
