Fall 2026 Court of Honor
What is the Fall Court of Honor?
The event will recognize our Scouts and their achievements since the Soring CoH. SCOUTS: Please wear your full Class A (with your neckerchief and sash, if you have received merit badges previously)
Where is it?
Heritage Park (16050 S. Pflumm Road, Olathe, KS)-- Shelter 7 (not the one we used in the spring )
There is a Johnny on the Spot in case the park bathroom has not fully reopened for the season . There are several gas stations within one mile of the park--in case you or a family member requires full restroom facilities.
What happens if there is rain?
We will gather in the Church of Ascension's parish hall (lower level).
How do I know whether we will be at the park or at Church of Ascension?
The Senior Patrol Leader will send a text to Scouts using Signal. The T218 leaders send email messages and/or texts in the Signal App. If your family has at least one of these ways to receive communications, then you should get updates on Sunday morning.
Will there be any food?
Yes! The main entrée will consist of burgers & hot dogs. Drinks (Lemonade and water) will be provided by the troop.
1st year Scouts (Griffons):Bring a side dish
2nd Year Scouts (Grumpy Goats patrol): Bring a dessert
3rd Year Scouts (Squirrel and Phoenix patrols):Bring a dessert
4th Year Scouts (Vipers): Bring a side dish.
5th Year Scouts (Red Bulls) Bring a dessert
6th Year Scouts (Hawks, Ravens, and King Cobras) – Bring a side dish
7th Year & higher(Doges, Tornadoes, etc ) – Bring a dessert
(Scouts are highly encouraged to bring something they actually made!)
What is the schedule?
3:00 pm - 3:45 pm - Set-up and grilling
3:45 pm - 4:15 pm - Fellowship and eating
4:15 pm to 5:00 pm - Court of Honor
5:00 to 5:45 pm- Clean-up
How do we let you know if our family can attend?
When you RSVP

- how many family members will attend, and
- if your family will help with set up, grilling /serving the food, or clean
If your family has not previously helped with preparing food, please consider signing up for this CoH. If you have a grill but just need help getting it to the park, let me know so we can put it on a trailer.
Anything else we should bring?
Please bring a folding chair or stool, in case there is not enough room at the picnic tables. We also appreciate any lawn game (ie: corn hole, ladder ball, etc.) that you would be willing to share for the evening.
